The Glendale Foundation for the Retarded A separate entity, The Glendale Foundation for the Retarded provides the fundraising and financial support necessary to supplement State funding from the Department of Developmental Services. Mission Statement The Glendale Foundation for the Retarded (The Foundation) exists exclusively for the benefit of the Glendale Association for the Retarded (The Association) in order to promote the long-term financial strength and stability of the Association. The Foundation's mission is to raise money from various sources including but not limited to personal donations, corporate donations, grants, fundraising events, memorials and endowments.
